Southbound95 would like to give a big THANK YOU to all our fans, family, and friends, old and new, who came out to support us the last two weekends as we debuted our live country covers at two great bars… and of course a big thanks to to those bars for hosting us.
First we’d like to thank KC’s Korner in South Plainfield NJ for having live country music on their beautiful patio on Sunday June 14th and making our first outdoor gig a huge success. It got a little sketchy there for a minute with threatening skies and gusty winds but that didn’t slow Cappy and the crew at KC’s who did a great job taking care of the guests, they hustled all night to get food on the tables, keep the drinks flowin’ and the party goin’. I guess Mother Nature loves country music as much as we do because when all was said and done the weather held and everyone had a blast. We can’t wait to get back to this great local joint again on Friday, July 31st 2026 but something tells me we might stop in for a pint and a bite before then and you should too.
Our next stop was on June 19th at Sidelines Bar & Grill in Fairfield NJ. This great sports bar was rockin’ after the U.S. Men’s Soccer Team defeated Australia 2-0 securing a spot in the World Cup’s round of 32. Then Scotland’s fans turned out in kilts for their match with Morocco. We appreciate everyone who stuck around for Southbound 95 and the live country music which followed. Thanks to “Bones”, Tim, Charlie and Meryem for working hard to make it an unforgettable night and special thanks to Alexandra who made sure it all went off without a hitch. We’re hoping to be back here soon and we’ll post dates when we have them. In the meantime if you’re looking for a great sports bar, with great food, great people and a friendly atmosphere near Fairfield NJ give Sidelines a look you won’t be disappointed.
We know we only get to do what we love because of our amazing friends and bars that support local bands and live country music and we thank you all.
